We have worked closely with Your IT for many years on a range of projects including a redesign of their website and subsequent SEO services to maintain site visibility in SERPs.
During one of our check ins regarding recent SEO performance, they asked if we could consult on their PPC activity as they were struggling to see results from their efforts so far.
Your IT weren’t seeing results from their current PPC set up. They were using an automated bidding strategy from Google for half of their campaigns and a manual bidding strategy for the other half of their campaigns but weren’t seeing results from either. The aim was to find a way for them to get more out of their Google Ads spend.
What we did
We conducted a full audit of Your IT’s PPC account to identify areas for improvement and provided recommendations for them to implement on their side.
- That Your IT needed to change their bidding strategy to Enhanced CPC to maintain control over their bids while still taking advantage of Google’s automatic adjustment tools
- That landing pages needed updating to improve keyword relevancy and quality scores
- That keywords needed reviewing and updating as they hadn’t been adjusted in a while
- That removing the ad schedule would allow them to gather data on the best performing times and apply bid adjustments in the future.
